Regional Finals Ski Racing
Western GMC Buick is a very proud sponsor of alpine ski
racing of all ages.
Through our sponsorship's at the provincial, regional and
local levels; athletes from the ages of 4 to 94 enjoy skiing and ski
racing. This past weekend, the Regional
Series wrapped up another great season at Marmot Basin located just outside of
Jasper, AB., with the Regional Finals ski race.
If you have never skied Marmot you need to put it on your list as it is
a fantastic mountain resort that offers a wide variety of skiing for families.
If you have never skied; it is a great way to make
Alberta winters go by quickly. Be sure
to check out your local ski clubs for more information.
For us here in Edmonton we are fortunate with four great
hills; Snow Valley located on the Whitemud just west of Calgary Trail, Rabbit Hill, southwest of the city, Edmonton Ski Club south of the downtown and
Sunridge located off the Yellowhead near Sherwood Park.
