Construction continues on our new look at Western GMC Buick

The temporary interior wall has been removed and now work begins on the cosmetic improvements. From the exterior side, the new entrance is almost completed with all of the glass now installed. Work turns to the inside of the entrance for dry walling, final electrical and heating. Once that is done the tiling will be completed. After that is ready to be walked on, we will be able to reopen our front doors. In the upcoming days we will adjust the fencing to allow for some more parking immediately in from of the showroom on the east half. Just last week the building was “3-D Laser Scanned” so that the cladding can be fabricated. We will receive the material in about eight weeks but once it arrives, the team from Delnor Construction will quickly install it and that, I hope, is the last step! It’s race between the cladding and Santa Clause so let’s hope the gladding gets here and installed before the jolly guy visits us!
